Eligibility Criteria for the China Link Scholarship Program 2025
To be eligible for the China Link Scholarship Program 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Nationality: Must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, with good moral character, strong academic performance, and in good physical and mental health.
Age Limit:
- Under 45 years old when applying as a general scholar.
- Under 50 years old when applying as a senior scholar.
Affiliation: Must be a full-time student or a full-time academic staff member at one of CSC’s foreign partner universities, both at the time of application and during the entire stay in China.
Admission Requirement: Must have received either an admission notice or an invitation letter from a Chinese host university.

Complete the Online Application
Visit the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System and fill out the CSC online application form. Be sure to upload all required supporting documents.

University Submits Nomination to CSC
