Monash University, Australia: John Monash Scholarship for Excellence 2025 (International Students)
Monash University in Australia offers the prestigious John Monash Scholarship for Excellence each year to outstanding international students pursuing undergraduate programs. This scholarship is valued at $40,000, paid over four years, to help cover your study expenses. In addition, recipients are invited to apply for Monash Minds, a leadership development program for first-year students.
Each year, this scholarship is awarded to the top 10 highest-achieving international students who are completing Australian Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate in Australia.
If you have an ATAR of 98.00 or higher (or equivalent), you will be automatically considered for this scholarship when you apply for a Monash undergraduate degree through the VTAC portal.

Eligibility Requirements for John Monash Scholarship 2025
To be considered, you must:
- Be an international student
- Be completing Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia
- Intend to enrol in an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia
- Meet the entry requirements of your chosen course
- Satisfy the English language requirements of Monash University
