King’s College London Nursing Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded Postgraduate Opportunity)
King’s College London, in partnership with The Burdett Trust for Nursing and the University of Edinburgh, is offering fully funded postgraduate scholarships for 2025. These awards aim to develop leadership and research capacity within the nursing profession.
We are pleased to announce two full-time scholarships available at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care. Each scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides a living stipend of up to £18,307 per year. This unique opportunity is designed for nurses and midwives who aspire to move into senior leadership roles and improve patient care through enhanced research skills—both in the UK and internationally.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the King’s College London Postgraduate Nursing Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
- Be a registered nurse or midwife applying for one of the eligible full-time courses at King’s College London.
- Be a UK, EU, or international student.
- Be available to attend in-person classes in London during the academic year.
Scholarship Benefits
Full tuition fee coverage for one of the eligible postgraduate programmes.
For UK (Home) students:
- Stipend of £10,769 per year
- Full tuition fees covered
For International students:
- Stipend of £18,307 per year
- Full tuition fees covered
Required Documents
Applicants must submit:
- A CV (max 2 pages) including proof of professional nursing registration.
- Two references (at least one academic; professional references accepted if your qualifications are over five years old).
- A personal statement (max 4,000 characters online or 2 pages as an attachment), explaining how the Burdett Fellowship will benefit you and your professional community.
- An outline of your research interests and a potential project proposal.
- International applicants must also include a letter of support from their health institution confirming support for research activities in their home country.
