Benefits of the IHE Delft MENA Scholarship Programme
The MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) provides full scholarships for young professionals to attend short courses in the Netherlands, enhancing their expertise and impact in their respective fields.
Eligible IHE Delft Short Courses for the MENA Scholarship Programme
Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring
This course focuses on designing and implementing monitoring networks for surface and groundwater bodies. It combines classroom learning, laboratory work, and field-based training, equipping participants with the knowledge and hands-on experience to establish monitoring systems in their home countries.
Remote Sensing for Agricultural Water Management
Participants will develop skills in using remote sensing data to estimate high-resolution agricultural water use (evapotranspiration) and biomass production. The course helps professionals apply this data for water productivity and irrigation performance assessment in their areas of interest.
Environmental and Social Impact Assessment at Project and Strategic Levels
This course explores Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and its role in sustainable sectoral and regional planning. Participants will learn how to integrate systems thinking, assess cumulative environmental effects, and apply strategic decision-making in alignment with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) practices.
How to Apply for the IHE Delft MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) 2025
If you're interested and meet the eligibility requirements, follow these steps to submit your application:

Check Eligibility – Ensure you meet the MSP eligibility criteria. Refer to the document “Obligations for Scholarship Holders – MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) – Individual Scholarships” for details.

Select a Course – Choose one of the three eligible short courses.

Employer Nomination – Confirm whether your employer is willing to nominate you for an MSP scholarship.

Apply for Course Admission – Submit your application for admission to the short course of your choice.

Confirm Admission – Once you receive an email confirming your academic admission, proceed with the MSP application.

Prepare Application Documents – Gather the required documents, including:

Employer statement

Copy of your passport

Government statement (if required)

The MSP scholarship application window will be open from April 1 to May 20, 2025 (16:00 CET).
