DTU Compute PhD Scholarship in Applied Mathematics (Fully Funded | 3 Years)

Are you passionate about applying advanced mathematical methods to explore and explain real-world phenomena? Do you aspire to contribute to cutting-edge research in theoretical mathematics? If so, a PhD in Mathematics at DTU Compute, Technical University of Denmark, could be your ideal path.

DTU Compute is inviting applications for a fully funded 3-year PhD scholarship in Applied Mathematics, as part of the Danish Research Council Project 1 (DRC-1). The research will focus on geometric singular perturbation theory in slow-fast analytic vector fields, in collaboration with an international partner in Australia.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants should be highly motivated graduates with a strong foundation in mathematical analysis. You must hold (or be nearing completion of) a two-year Master’s degree (120 ECTS) in mathematics or a related discipline.

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be assessed based on:

Academic excellence
Research potential
Motivation to pursue advanced theoretical mathematics
The evaluation will be led by Associate Professor Kristian Uldall Kristiansen.
