Applications are now open for the 4th cohort of the Ashesi-ETH Masters Scholarship to study in both Switzerland and Ghana. This scholarship provides full funding, covering tuition, academic fees, laptop and equipment, accommodation, health insurance, one annual trip home, and a monthly stipend for living expenses.
Since January 2022, Ashesi University in Ghana and ETH Zurich have been offering a joint Master in Mechatronic Engineering program. Currently, 40 students from 7 African countries are studying at Ashesi University.
The program is delivered through block courses, designed and taught collaboratively by faculty from both universities in Switzerland and Ghana. The strong partnership between Ashesi University, ETH Zurich, industry partners, and supporting organizations is fostered through regular visits and exchanges.
Eligibility Requirements for Ashesi-ETH Master in Mechatronic Engineering 2026
To be considered for the Ashesi-ETH Master in Mechatronic Engineering, applicants must:
- Be African
- Hold a BSc or MSc in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Mechanical, Process, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Have a minimum of a Second Class Upper grade
- Demonstrate proficiency in English
