The SDB-Türkiye Joint Scholarship Programme provides scholarships for international students from all IsDB Member Countries and Muslim Communities worldwide to pursue their studies in Turkey.
This initiative, supported by YTB and IsDB, offers scholarships to students and scholars from IsDB member countries to study at Turkey's top universities. It reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering human capital development.
Interested candidates should submit their applications through the Türkiye Scholarships website. Applications are available in eight languages: Turkish, Arabic, English, French, Russian, Bosnian, Persian, and Spanish.
Scholarships are offered for Undergraduate, Master's, and PhD programs in various Science and Technology fields aimed at development. Successful applicants will receive full university admission and a comprehensive scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements for Türkiye IsDB/YTB Scholarships 2025
To qualify for the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and Türkiye Scholarships (YTB) program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate financial need, without which their education may be discontinued.
- Must not be an IsDB staff member, Executive Director, or any type of employee (including temporary or consultant) of the IsDB Group.
- Must not be a close relative of an IsDB staff member by blood or adoption. "Close relatives" include parents, siblings (including half-siblings), children, aunts, uncles, nieces, or nephews.
- Have completed senior secondary education (or equivalent to 12 years of schooling) with strong academic performance in major science subjects.
- Provide proof of language proficiency in the university’s language of instruction. For English, recognized certificates such as TOEFL or IELTS are required, or passing a language test conducted by institutions like the British Council. Equivalent certification applies for French or other languages.
- Submit certified English or French translations of all documents if originally in another language.
- Be medically fit and willing to undergo a medical examination upon selection.
- Securing admission in one of the approved disciplines at a recognized college or university in their home country is desirable.
- Must reside in their home country at the time of application and not be living abroad.
- Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship during application and throughout the study period.
