The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program was established to strengthen human resource development in developing countries and foster international cooperation, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding among nations.
This prestigious program offers a 6-month fully funded research internship in Poland, providing:

UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, works to promote peace and sustainable development through global cooperation in education, science, and culture.
Applications are now open for 30 co-sponsored research fellowships, available to applicants from Africa, Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
The program aligns with UNESCO’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the 2030 Agenda, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015.
Eligibility Criteria for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship 2025
To be eligible for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification:

Hold at least a Bachelor’s (B.Sc./B.A.) or Master’s (M.Sc./M.A.) degree.

For engineering-related fellowships, candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Master of Engineering (M.Eng) degree.

Applicants for the Archaeology Fellowship must have a B.A. or M.A. in Archaeology or Conservation (or a closely related field).
Language Proficiency:

Demonstrate proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

In some cases, additional language requirements may apply depending on the host institution.
Age Limit:

Must be under 40 years old at the time of application.

Benefits Provided by the Polish Authorities:

Free tuition and full access to university facilities

Accommodation at the AGH UST Student Campus in Kraków

Monthly stipend of 2,200 PLN to cover living expenses
Support Provided by UNESCO:

International round-trip airfare (from your home country to Poland and back)

Passport-sized photograph (clear copy of applicant's ID photo)
Certified copies of academic qualifications

UNESCO Certificate of Language Proficiency

Two letters of recommendation
