About the Fellowship
Powered by the Western Union Foundation in partnership with the Watson Institute, this program supports the next generation of changemakers. Fellows receive training in leadership development, venture scaling, and community engagement—all at no cost to participants.

Program Format and Benefits
The 2025 Fellowship offers a dynamic virtual learning experience with global engagement and real-world application.
Program Structure
Virtual Weekly Workshops: 6–8 hours per week covering core themes including data, go-to-market strategies, funding, team leadership, and pitch development.
Immersive Orientation: A 2-week intensive virtual session (20–25 hours/week) to kick-start your fellowship journey.
Impact Series: Guest sessions with world-renowned entrepreneurs and thought leaders who offer mentorship and share real-world insights.
Basecamp Events: 2+ day localized workshops within Fellows’ communities focused on ideation, business modeling, and storytelling.
Summit: A closing event where Fellows pitch their ventures to a panel of local leaders, funders, and fellow entrepreneurs.
Seed Funding
A total of $36,000 in seed funding will be awarded to select Fellows based on demonstrated progress and impact throughout the program.

Final Selection
Accepted Fellows will be notified by July 25, 2025 and must confirm their participation.
