University College London (UCL) IMPACT Scholarship 2025 for International Students
The University College London (UCL) is now inviting applications for the prestigious IMPACT Scholarships from qualified international students interested in studying in the UK. These scholarships are designed to fully cover tuition fees (valued at £20,500) for students enrolling in the Master of Public Health (MPH) program at UCL.
Both full-time, part-time, and modular-flexible students are welcome to apply, and the scholarship will be applied pro-rata to the chosen study mode.
Each year, UCL offers two IMPACT Scholarships to support candidates who:
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have lived experience of inequality
- Show strong potential to make a meaningful impact in population health
- This aligns with UCL’s core commitment to tackling inequalities and advancing public health through education.
Eligibility Criteria (2025)
To be considered, you must:
- Meet the admission requirements for the UCL online Master of Public Health (MPH)
- Have submitted your application for the MPH program starting in 2025/26
- Have lived experience of inequality — such as challenges due to income, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, caring responsibilities, adverse childhood experiences, social exclusion, or disability
Scholarship Value & Duration
- Covers full tuition fees (£20,500)
- Available for students studying full-time, part-time, or modular-flexible
- The award will be applied directly towards your tuition fees
Selection Criteria
Applicants will be assessed based on:
- A personal statement describing how lived experiences of inequality have shaped their ambition to study public health
- Why they should be awarded the scholarship and how it will benefit them personally
- How they plan to leverage their experience and MPH degree to make a difference in population health
- A panel of two assessors will review and score each application. The top two highest-ranked applicants will be awarded the scholarships.
