The University of Edinburgh invites applications for the prestigious 2025 Ailie Donald Scholarship, available to both international and domestic students pursuing a Master’s degree.
About the Ailie Donald Scholarship
This scholarship fully covers tuition at the UK rate for one academic year and supports postgraduate students in English and/or Historical Linguistics within the School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences.
Eligible Programmes:
Applicants must have been accepted into one of the following Master’s programmes:
- MSc English Language
- MSc by Research English Language
- MSc Linguistics
- MSc by Research Linguistics
Preference is given to applicants for the MSc by Research programmes and University of Edinburgh graduates.
Who Can Apply?
To be considered, applicants must:
- Hold or be expected to obtain a First Class Honours degree or its international equivalent.
- Have received an offer of admission to one of the eligible programmes listed above.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Full coverage of tuition at the UK fee rate for one academic year.
