The University of Manitoba offers a fully funded scholarship opportunity for international students looking to pursue graduate studies. This scholarship covers full tuition and provides generous living stipends — up to CAD $26,000 per year — for selected candidates.

Currently, the Dr. Mohammad Nadimi Lab in the Department of Biosystems Engineering is accepting applications for:

1 PhD position (stipend: CAD $26,000/year)
1 MSc position (stipend: CAD $21,000/year)

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the University of Manitoba Canada Scholarship 2025, you must have:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following or related fields:

Biosystems Engineering
Electrical/Computer Engineering
Agricultural/Biological Engineering

Skills in programming and data analysis (e.g., MATLAB, Python)
Experience with machine learning and deep learning
Knowledge of sensors (e.g., NIR, X-ray, HSI, gas sensors)
Familiarity with grain handling, post-harvest metrics, or storage modeling
Scientific publications or previous research experience (an advantage)
