Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) 2025 Fully Funded Scholarship
To attract exceptional international students, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) has established the “Study in ZUEL” International Students Scholarship to provide financial support.
The ZUEL Scholarships are funded by both the Chinese Government and the university itself.
According to the ZUEL International Student Scholarship Management Measures, the “Study in ZUEL” Freshman Scholarship covers the recipient’s first-year expenses in China.
From the second year onwards, students can apply annually for the “Study in ZUEL” Current Students Scholarship (excluding extended study periods). Selection is based on academic performance, personal achievements, and participation in academic, cultural, and sports activities.
Eligibility Requirements for the ZUEL Freshman Scholarship 2025
To be eligible for the ZUEL Freshman Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Non-Chinese Citizenship: Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport, demonstrate good character, maintain a friendly attitude toward China, and have no criminal record.
Language Proficiency:
For programs taught in Chinese: Applicants must have HSK Level 5 or above and demonstrate strong academic performance in high school.
For graduate studies in Chinese: Applicants must have HSK Level 5 or above, a university GPA of 3.0 or higher, and a solid academic background.
For graduate studies in English: Applicants must provide one of the following:
- IELTS score of 6.0 or higher
- TOEFL score of 80 or higher
Proof of completing a previous degree program in English
A university GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Scholarship Restrictions: Applicants must not be recipients of any other scholarship.
