The 2018 Saskatchewan Agriculture Student Scholarship program was recently announced by the agricultural minister themed ‘Our Food has a Story’, encourages young people to have a conversation about the relationship between agriculture and the food they eat,” Stewart said. “The scholarship program identifies young agricultural leaders to help build public trust in our industry.” A food story connects consumers to agriculture by talking about shared values – health and nutrition, affordability, food safety, and sustainability. Interested students can apply for the scholarship by submitting a creative three minute video or a 1,000-word essay based on topics surrounding their food story.
