The University of Calabria (Unical) is offering 120 scholarships for international students to pursue two-year Master’s degree programs at the university.
Each year, Unical awards over 6,000 scholarships, which include:
- A financial stipend
- Free accommodation and university canteen services
- Full tuition fee exemption
Scholarship Selection Criteria
Scholarships will be awarded based on merit rankings determined for each degree program. Rankings are established by individual departments, considering the number of slots allocated for international students.
Available Master’s Programs
Eligible applicants can apply for the following Master’s degree courses:
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Telecommunication Engineering: Smart Sensing, Computing, and Networking
- Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science
- Finance and Insurance
- Nutritional Science
- Environmental and Territorial Safety Engineering – Sustainable Management of Natural Resources (curriculum)
- Robotics and Automation Engineering (curriculum)
Requirements for the University of Calabria Scholarship
To be eligible for the University of Calabria Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a non-European student.
- Apply for provisional admission to the University of Calabria.
- Hold a valid academic qualification obtained from a university outside Italy, which grants access to International Master’s Degree programs in Italy.
- Students expecting to graduate in the 2021/2022 academic year may apply provisionally. However, failure to obtain the required qualification will result in loss of enrollment eligibility.
Scholarship Benefits
- Scholarship duration: 12 to 24 months.
- Full tuition fee coverage.
- Access to free accommodation and meals.
- A €2,500.00 stipend.
- Scholarship renewal for the second year is subject to meeting academic requirements.
