Collaborative Partner: GeneFirst
DNA from cancers leaks into blood and can be detected. GeneFirst has a new technology for detection of multiple defined mutations in a single closed-tube with greatly increased sensitivity that is suitable for detecting mutations in circulating cell-free DNA in blood. In this project, GeneFirst and Warwick Medical School will co-develop, optimise and evaluate a set of gene mutation detection assays for lung cancer.
