Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF) Scholarship 2025 for Nigerian Law School Students
The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF) is pleased to announce the 2025 Scholarship Programme for students admitted to the Nigerian Law School. This prestigious scholarship offers full coverage of tuition and living expenses, supporting brilliant and financially challenged students in their journey to becoming legal professionals.
Established by Alhaji (Engr.) Abdulkabir Aliu, CEO of Matrix Energy Group, the Foundation began in 2014 by supporting 70 students across six federal universities. It has since expanded to accept applications from students in 13 federal universities across Nigeria.
Applications are invited from:
- Indigent Muslim Law graduates of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)
- Law graduates of Ede origin recently admitted into the Nigerian Law School
This scholarship is aimed at empowering deserving students to complete their legal education without financial burden.
Eligibility Criteria for the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF) Scholarship 2025
To be considered for the AAF Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria based on their category:
For Ede Law Graduates:
- Must be a Law graduate from any Federal University in Nigeria
- Must have received admission into any Nigerian Law School
- Must be of good character
- Must provide proof of indigene status from Ede
For OAU Law Graduates:
- Must be a Law graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife
- Must have received admission into any Nigerian Law School
- Must be of good character
- Must be an indigent student (unable to afford the required tuition fees)
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates will receive a fully funded scholarship, covering:
- Tuition fees at the Nigerian Law School
- Living expenses throughout the academic year
Required Documents

- Completed Application Form
- A copy of their undergraduate/postgraduate transcript or result
- Certificate of State of Origin

- Current beneficiaries of the AAF Scholarship are not required to reapply.
