Oregon Institute of Technology Master's Scholarship 2025 | Graduate Teaching Assistantship (USA)
The Oregon Institute of Technology is now accepting applications for a Graduate Teaching Assistantship opportunity for students pursuing a Master’s degree in the United States. This competitive scholarship provides both financial support and practical teaching experience in a research-driven academic environment.
Dr. Christy VanRooyen is seeking a highly motivated Master's student with a strong interest in pollinator ecology. The student will play a key role in a research project focused on understanding how pollinator diversity, abundance, and floral resource use respond to wetland restoration efforts.
This project, conducted in collaboration with partner agencies and private landowners, involves monitoring pollinators using standardized methodologies outlined in the National Protocol Framework for the Inventory and Monitoring of Bees and the Integrated Monarch Monitoring Program. The findings will inform land management practices and support decision-making in the eastern Cascade ecoregion.
