The University of Adelaide is offering a fully-funded scholarship for both domestic and international applicants.
Research Project Overview
This project will utilize cutting-edge MRI sequences to analyze the morphology and composition of human joints in participants enrolled in a social running program. The study aims to phenotype joints using a statistical shape and appearance model.
Funding & Research Environment
The project is supported by an ARC Future Fellowship.
The selected candidate will be part of the Centre for Orthopaedic and Trauma Research, a dynamic research team at the University of Adelaide.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the University of Adelaide Scholarships Australia 2025, applicants must:
- Be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or international students eligible for a PhD program at the University of Adelaide.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering with relevant experience in the research area.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- If English is not the first language, provide proof of English proficiency through a recognized test taken within the last two years.
Scholarship Duration & Benefits
- The scholarship is awarded for 3.5 years.
- It includes a stipend of $35,300 per year (2025 rate, indexed annually).
