Louisiana State University Scholarships 2026 (USA) – Fully Funded Master’s & PhD Opportunities
Louisiana State University (LSU) invites applications from international students for fully funded Master’s and PhD programs starting in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and possibly Fall 2026. Selected candidates will join the SIMSIS Laboratory in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and will be appointed as Graduate Research Assistants.

Research Focus
The positions are research-based and centered on Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), Digital Twins, and assessment of civil infrastructure systems.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Requirements
- Strong foundation in SHM and structural engineering concepts
- Experience with Finite Element Modeling and numerical/digital modeling
- Proven research and scientific writing skills
- Openness to multidisciplinary collaboration (engineering, computer science, visualization)
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical SHM testing experience on real structures
- Familiarity with Digital Twin technologies
- Programming skills (Python, ROS, C#, C++, Unity, Blender)
- Knowledge of mobile robotics and AI methods
- Exposure to immersive visualization tools (VR, AR, MR)
