Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- Annual stipend: ¥1,000,000 (offered after arrival in Japan)

- Accommodation support: Covers the initial and monthly rent for a TCU-designated dormitory
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the TCU Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Have completed at least 16 years of education in their home country
- Be within two years of obtaining a bachelor’s degree
- Be enrolled in a Master’s program at TCU and intend to continue to a Doctoral course
- Rank in the top 10% academically at a university that is also in the top 10% of universities in their home country
- Obtain a recommendation letter from the president of their undergraduate university
- Demonstrate strong academic potential and personal excellence
- Not be a recipient of any other scholarships
Eligible Graduate Schools at TCU
The scholarship is available to students enrolling in one of the following:
- Graduate School of Integrative Science and Engineering
- Graduate School of Environmental and Information Studies

Completed Prior Consultation Form (Forms B & D) outlining your proposed research or field of study
- Recommendation letter from your university president
- Any additional documents requested during the admission process
