University of British Columbia (UBC) Affiliated Fellowship 2026 – Up to $40,000 in Graduate Funding
The University of British Columbia Affiliated Fellowship is a prestigious award granted annually to academically outstanding students pursuing full-time graduate studies or research at UBC. Administered by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, the program supports both current and prospective Master’s and PhD students at UBC’s Vancouver campus.
Each year, approximately 50 fellowships are awarded based on academic excellence. The funding value ranges from $175 to $40,000, with most awards averaging $16,000.
Eligibility Criteria for UBC Affiliated Fellowship 2026:
To be eligible, applicants must:

Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or international student.

Have a minimum first-class standing (or equivalent) in each of the last two years of full-time study.

Be enrolled in, or applying for, full-time admission to a UBC graduate program.

Be registered or planning to register as a full-time graduate student at UBC’s Vancouver campus by September 2025.

Meet the eligibility criteria for the Canada Graduate Scholarships – Doctoral (CGS-D) competition (for doctoral-level applicants).
Fellowship Value:
