Erasmus Mundus EMIMEP Fully Funded ScholarThe Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship (European Master for Industry in Microwave Electronics and Photonics) is a newly funded project by the European Union, running from September 1, 2023, to October 31, 2029.
This new master’s program introduces fresh initiatives and activities, building upon the foundation of EMIMEO. The Program Committee remains committed to enhancing the quality of education while strengthening collaborations with industry and research institutions.
The project is a collaboration between the University of Limoges (UNILIM, France), the University of Brescia (UNIBS, Italy), the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, Spain), and the Abbe School of Photonics at Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (FSUJena, Germany). The consortium is currently awaiting approval from the Erasmus+ Agency.
Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship Requirements and Benefits
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Photonics, or Applied Physics.

Have a strong academic background in relevant subjects such as signal processing, electromagnetism, telecommunications, embedded systems, analog and digital electronics, electromagnetic wave propagation, and photonics principles.

Provide the final grade of their bachelor's program, with the option to convert their grade using the ENIC-NARIC recognition convention.

Demonstrate previous professional experience, including industrial internships, academic projects, summer jobs, or research experience.
Scholarship Benefits (2025 Edition)
Recipients of the Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship will receive:

A monthly stipend of €1,400 for up to 24 months during the entire program duration.

Coverage of travel and visa costs, along with a living allowance.

Comprehensive health and travel insurance throughout the study period.

Full tuition fee coverage for the entire duration of the program.
Required Documents for Application
Applicants must submit the following documents:

Letter of Motivation – A personal essay in English, clearly outlining the applicant’s motivation and ability to communicate effectively.

Certified copies of academic certificates, including:

High school/secondary school certificate.

Bachelor's degree and academic transcripts (up to the application date).

Copy of passport or national ID.

Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Self-declaration of honors as proof of residence.

English language proficiency certificate or test report.

Three reference letters, including:

At least one from a non-academic referee attesting to core competencies and practical experience.

Each letter must include proof of the referee’s credentials (e.g., LinkedIn ID, Google Scholar ID, or other online verification).

Proof of employment or internships from the past five years, such as employment certificates or internship records.
