Flinders University RTP Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded)

Flinders University offers a fully funded Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship for international students under the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship (AGRTPS). This prestigious award supports students pursuing a Higher Degree by Research (PhD or Master's by research) at Flinders University.

What the Scholarship Covers

Full international tuition fee offset
Annual living stipend of $35,010 (tax-free)
Settlement allowance of up to $1,485 for relocation and airfare costs (receipts required)
Overseas Health Care coverage

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

Be a citizen of a country other than New Zealand and not hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship
Intend to begin full-time research studies in Australia for the first time in the award year
Enrol in a research area of concentration at Flinders University
Meet all academic entry and English language proficiency requirements for a Higher Degree by Research
In some cases, students who began research in the previous year but missed the AGRTPS application cycle may also be considered

Covers tuition fees for up to 4 years
Annual stipend: $35,010
Settlement allowance: up to $1,485 upon arrival in Adelaide

How to Apply

Apply for admission to a Higher Degree by Research (PhD or Master's by Research) program at Flinders University.
Submit a separate application for the International RHD Scholarship Group via the scholarship portal.
Obtain informal agreement from an academic staff member at Flinders to supervise your research.
Include written evidence of this supervision agreement in your scholarship application.
