Koç University Scholarships: Fully Funded Opportunities for Graduate Students
Koç University offers prestigious fully-funded scholarships for both international and domestic students who demonstrate exceptional academic potential. These scholarships include:

The university is committed to supporting high-achieving students through competitive scholarship packages for eligible programs in the following schools:
- Graduate School of Sciences and Engineering (MS Thesis & Ph.D. programs)
- Graduate School of Social Sciences and Humanities (MS Thesis & Ph.D. programs)
- Graduate School of Business (Ph.D. programs)
No separate application is required for the scholarship. If you're admitted into any of the eligible graduate programs, you will automatically be considered for a scholarship—no additional forms or deadlines needed.
Koç University Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the Koç University Scholarships, applicants must:
- Complete the online application for their desired Master’s with Thesis program and upload all required documents. This includes valid GRE/GMAT and TOEFL test scores (where applicable).
- Note: There are no separate forms for scholarship applications—your program application automatically places you in consideration.
- Meet the specific admission requirements of the program you are applying to.
Additional Notes:
- Undergraduate Applicants: An English proficiency test is not required for international undergraduate admissions.
- Graduate Applicants: Ensure you meet all program-specific academic and test requirements.
Koç University Scholarship: Duration and Benefits
Ph.D. Students
Successful Ph.D. candidates will receive a comprehensive scholarship package that includes:
- Full tuition waiver
- Monthly stipend of 6,000 – 8,000 TL (approx. $6,034/year)
- Free furnished housing (shared with 3–4 students, subject to availability)
- Private health insurance (with limited coverage)
- Meal card for campus dining
- Free HGS (Fast Transit Pass) car sticker for campus access
- Annual travel support (fixed amount) to attend scientific events
Master’s with Thesis Students
Eligible Master’s students will receive:
- Full tuition waiver
- Monthly stipend of 3,000 – 4,000 TL
- Private health insurance (limited coverage)
- Annual travel support (fixed amount) to attend scientific events
Undergraduate Students
- Scholarships for international undergraduate or international transfer students cover full or partial tuition fees for each academic year. The award is valid for the entire duration of the undergraduate program (4 years).

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents during their application process:
- Statement of Purpose (SoP)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- University transcripts (check program-specific GPA requirements)
- University diploma(s)
- TOEFL iBT score (minimum 80; note: IELTS is not accepted in Turkey)
- GRE or GMAT scores (check program-specific requirements)
- Referee contact details – 2 for Master’s, 3 for Ph.D. programs
- Additional documents as specified by your chosen programs
