The AKO Masters Scholarship is provided by the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science (PBS) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
For the 2025/26 academic year, the department is offering both full scholarships (covering tuition fees and a stipend) and tuition-fees-only scholarships, generously funded by the AKO Foundation.
LSE’s programmes equip students with a deep understanding of core theories in social psychology and behavioural science, allowing them to specialise in specific areas of interest and conduct independent research.
Eligibility Requirements for the London School of Economics AKO Scholarship 2025
To be eligible for the LSE AKO Masters Scholarship, applicants must:
- Demonstrate financial need
- Be citizens or residents of South Asia, Africa, or Latin America
- Enroll in a one-year taught master’s program from the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science (PBS) (see eligible programmes below)
Additionally, applicants must explain how studying at LSE will enable them to contribute to societal impact activities in their home region after completing their degree.

Once you have confirmed your eligibility, follow these steps to submit your application:
