Hyundai Motor Group is offering five scholarships to support talented individuals from Africa, fostering expertise in sustainable development and building long-term collaboration models for the next generation of African leaders.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Hyundai Motor Group Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
- Be an African national and a resident of Africa.
- Be a fee-paying international student.
- Be applying for programs starting in the 2025/26 academic year.
- Have a strong academic record, supported by references and transcripts.
- For MA applicants: Hold or expect to obtain an international equivalent of a First-Class Honours degree from a UK university.
- For MPhil/PhD applicants: Hold or expect to obtain an international equivalent of a Master’s degree with distinction from a UK university. (Applicants with a 2:1 may apply but will not be prioritized.)
- Have applied to SOAS University of London (an admission offer is not required at the time of application).
- Meet the English language requirements for admission, if applicable.
Scholarship Benefits
- Master’s students: Full tuition coverage, with any remaining funds from the £27,730 award provided as a stipend for living expenses.
- PhD students: Full tuition coverage for three years, plus a writing-up fee for the fourth year. Additionally, an annual stipend of £22,780 is provided in termly installments.
- Scholars receive exclusive access to Hyundai networking events and seminars, post-study alumni engagement opportunities, and the option to apply for a Junior Internship Program at SOAS.
