2025 NLNG Post Primary Scholarship – Now Open for Applications
Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) is pleased to invite applications for the 2025 NLNG Post Primary Scholarship from suitably qualified Nigerian pupils. This fully funded scholarship aims to support high-performing Basic Six pupils in public primary schools as they transition into and progress through secondary school.
As part of NLNG’s social investment in education, the scheme is designed to foster academic excellence and provide equal opportunities. Applications are especially welcomed from all eligible candidates, including Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2025 Nigeria LNG (NLNG) Post Primary Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be an indigene of any NLNG host community in Rivers State.
- Must currently be in Basic Six and enrolled in a public primary school within Rivers State.
- Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant.
- Must not be older than 12 years of age at the time of application.
- Must not be a child, spouse, ward, or direct relative of an NLNG staff member.
- Must have secured provisional admission into one of the following NLNG partner schools:
- Hallel College (Boarding), Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
- Archdeacon Brown Secondary School, Woji, Port Harcourt
- Christie Toby Education Center, Iriebe
Scholarship Benefits
The NLNG Post Primary Scholarship is fully funded and covers all approved fees and expenses throughout the beneficiary’s secondary education.
Required Documents
Applicants must be prepared to submit scanned copies of the following:
- Result sheets for Basic 4, Basic 5, and Basic 6.
- Attestation letter signed and stamped by the Headmaster/Headmistress of the current school (must include the official contact number).
- Indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or a recognized Chief in the applicant’s community.
- Letter of identification from the applicant’s Local Government Council.
- A recent passport-sized photograph (taken after January 2025, no glasses).
- Birth certificate issued by the National Population Commission (NPC).
