NNPC/TotalEnergies ETT Fellowship 2025 – A Semester at MIT, USA
The NNPC/TotalEnergies ETT Fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity for Nigerian academics to spend a semester at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA.
This fully funded, teaching-focused fellowship is a collaborative initiative between MISTI (MIT International Science and Technology Initiative), NNPC Limited, and TotalEnergies Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI).
The fellowship is designed to support Nigeria’s socio-economic advancement by promoting high-quality education through strategic partnerships with both local and international academic institutions.
At its core, the ETT Fellowship serves as an innovation lab for transforming engineering education in Nigeria. Its objective is to inspire a shift toward problem-solving, creativity, and innovation in Nigerian universities—areas that have traditionally been underdeveloped due to systemic underinvestment and neglect.
Through this initiative, MISTI aims to foster a new approach to science and engineering education across African institutions, placing a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, research collaboration, and educational excellence.
