North West Development Commission (NWDC) Scholarship 2025: Applications Now Open
The North West Development Commission (NWDC) is pleased to officially announce the opening of applications for the 2025/2026 NWDC Undergraduate & Postgraduate Foreign Scholarship Programme — a fully funded opportunity for eligible Nigerians to study at top universities abroad.
Established under the NWDC Act of 2024, signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Commission is dedicated to advancing development, infrastructure, and growth across the North-West region. As part of this mission, the NWDC Scholarship 2025 aims to foster academic excellence and empower outstanding individuals from the region to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at prestigious foreign institutions.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be an indigene of one of the North-West states: Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, or Zamfara.
- Have distinction in 3 core science subjects and at least 5 credits in other subjects in no more than 2 sittings (WAEC/NECO).
- Hold a minimum CGPA of 3.8 (undergraduate) or 4.0/5.0 (Master’s degree).
- Be under 22 years (Undergraduate), 35 years (Master’s), and 40 years (PhD) at the time of application.
