 Doctoral Scholarships for Social Science majors-$60,000 per year

Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarships  sponsors graduate students in high academic standing who want to pursue Doctoral degree programs in social sciences. Approximately 15 is awarded every year. This scholarship is a well paid scholarship and so those the quality of Candidates being selected. Value of the scholarship: This scholarship can pay up to $60,000 per Scholar annually  (including an annual travel allowance of $20,000) for up to four years Selection Criteria:

  • Candidates must have been accepted or will be accepted into a Canadian University
  • Candidates pursuing Doctoral degree programs in any of the following related areas will be preferred:
  • Human Rights and Dignity,
  • Responsible Citizenship,
  • Canada in the World,
  • People in Their Natural Environment.
Scholars are selected through an application process that includes nomination by a university. Foreign students who have been accepted or will be accepted into a doctoral program at a Canadian university are eligible for nomination by a university; applications from students of developing countries will be favoured.
