Now Open: 2025 Diaspora Bridge Program by the Federal Ministry of Education (FME), Nigeria
The Federal Ministry of Education (FME), in partnership with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), is pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 Diaspora Bridge Program—BRIDGE (Bridging Research, Innovation, Development & Global Engagement).
This initiative is designed to connect Nigerian academics and professionals with their counterparts in the diaspora, fostering collaborative research, innovation, industry partnerships, and capacity building.
About the Program
The Diaspora Bridge Program (BRIDGE) serves as a platform to:
- Promote cross-border research collaboration
- Strengthen global academic and industry partnerships
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and skill development
- Expand access to international funding and grants
- Drive innovation and modernization within Nigeria’s higher education system
Program Streams
The BRIDGE Program is open to two main participant categories:
- Nigerian Academic Professionals – Members of Nigerian tertiary institutions
- Nigerian Professionals in the Diaspora – Nigerians working abroad seeking collaboration with Nigerian institutions
