Eligibility Criteria
Knight-Hennessy Scholars are selected from all disciplines, nationalities, and backgrounds. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Stanford Graduate Program Admission
Applicants must apply to and be accepted by a full-time graduate program at Stanford University. One of the following conditions must apply:
- You are applying separately but concurrently to both the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program and a full-time Stanford graduate degree to begin in the same year.
- You have deferred admission to a Stanford graduate program and are applying to Knight-Hennessy to begin both in the same year.
- You are currently enrolled in a Stanford graduate program and wish to pursue an additional full-time graduate degree, starting both simultaneously.
- You are a first-year Stanford PhD student and applying to join the Knight-Hennessy program in your second year.
Academic Qualification
Applicants must have earned their undergraduate degree in January 2018 or later.
Scholarship Duration and Benefits
Selected scholars will receive comprehensive funding for up to three years, which includes:
- Full tuition and associated fees
- A living stipend to cover housing, food, and academic supplies
