The University of Queensland Graduate School Scholarships offer fully-funded opportunities for international students to pursue research-based MPhil or PhD degrees in Australia.
These scholarships provide a living stipend to support students as they work on their Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy, or research-focused professional doctorate at UQ.
2025 University of Queensland RTP Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the 2025 University of Queensland RTP Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be nominated by an enrolling school or institute at UQ.
- Be assessed by the Graduate School to meet all conditions for admission to the higher degree by research program.
- Not be receiving any other living allowance award or scholarship that provides a benefit exceeding 75% of the RTP Scholarship living allowance rate for the higher degree by research program.
Scholarship Duration and Reward
The University of Queensland Graduate School Scholarship 2025 cover;
- Tuition fees
- Living stipend of $33,640 per annum tax free (2025 rate), indexed annually, Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
- The scholarship is for 3.5 years with the possibility of 1 extension in line with UQ and RTP Scholarship Policy
