UNCF General Scholarship Application

For any student to be considered for other scholarships , the student must complete the online application for each individual scholarship. Paper applications are not accepted for this or any of UNCF's scholarship, internship or fellowship programs. The UNCF manages various scholarship programs and each program has its own eligibility criteria, open/close dates and required documentation. To apply for a UNCF scholarship, you must apply through the on-line application process. As many of the UNCF General scholarships require that the scholarship recipient apply for Federal Student Aid, it is recommended that applicants complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Get in-depth information on federal student aid programs and applying for financial aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Eligibility for UNCF General Scholarship

Your must be enrolled in the UNCF member university to be eligible to apply for this scholarship
You must be a US Citizen or resident to apply for this scholarship
Be enrolled full-time at a UNCF Member College or University
Complete the Free Application for Student Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Have a demonstrated financial need as verified by the financial aid office
Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale
Complete the online application
