The French Government is offering the France Excellence Europa Scholarship to international applicants interested in pursuing a Master's degree in France. This scholarship provides financial support, covering installation costs, accommodation, and an annual allowance, totaling €8,550.
Established by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the France Excellence Europa Scholarship program enables students from 26 European Union countries to study at the Master’s level in French higher education institutions.
The selection process begins with a pre-evaluation by the college relations teams at French embassies. Shortlisted applications are then reviewed by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in collaboration with experts from the relevant fields.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the France Excellence Europa Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Nationality: Must be a citizen of one of the 26 European Union member states:

Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden.

Age: Must be between 18 and 26 years old at the start of their stay in France.

Admission: Must have secured admission into a Master’s 1 or Master’s 2 program at a French higher education institution for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Education Background: Should not hold a French higher education degree or be currently enrolled in a French higher education program.

Other Scholarships: Must not be a recipient of an Erasmus+, AUF, or any other scholarship from the French Ministry.
Scholarship Benefits
Recipients of the France Excellence Europa Scholarship 2025 will receive:

A half-yearly allowance of €6,850.

An installation allowance of €1,700.

Exemption from registration fees for national diplomas at universities and public institutions under the Ministry of Higher Education.

Priority accommodation assistance in CROUS university residences.

Health insurance coverage for the first three months of their stay in France.

Enrollment in supplemental health insurance.

Special discounts on cultural activities through Campus France.
