The Tianjin Government Scholarship 2025 is designed to attract talented international students to Tianjin University (TJU) for advanced studies.

Eligibility Requirements for Tianjin Government Scholarship 2025
To qualify for the Tianjin Government Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
General Requirements:
- Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good health.
- Master’s program applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
- PhD program applicants must hold a Master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
For Chinese-taught programs:
- Must submit HSK-5 certificate with a minimum score of 180.
- Native Chinese speakers and students who have completed their previous degree in Chinese are exempt from providing HSK certificates.
For English-taught programs:
- Must submit an English proficiency certificate:
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 80
- IELTS: Minimum score of 6.0
- Native English speakers are exempt from this requirement.
- Applicants who completed their undergraduate/master’s degree in English can submit a Certificate of Undergraduate Study in English instead of TOEFL or IELTS.
Additionally, applicants must demonstrate good academic conduct, sound physical and mental health, and a willingness to abide by Chinese laws and university regulations.
