Texas A&M University Graduate Scholarships (Fully Funded Assistantships)
The Texas A&M University Graduate Scholarships offer a fully funded graduate assistantship opportunity through the prestigious Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, a privately endowed research unit at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
These scholarships provide up to $2,200 monthly stipend plus benefits (including a medical package after a 60-day waiting period) and a full tuition waiver for Master’s and Doctoral candidates. This is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about wildlife conservation and ecological research.
For over 40 years, the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute has led the way in science-based wildlife and rangeland conservation. Its award-winning team of around 30 faculty and researchers collaborates with about 55 M.S. and Ph.D. students on cutting-edge, applied research projects alongside private landowners, government agencies, and NGOs.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (depending on the position).
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be familiar with programming or coding (e.g., R, Python).
- Have experience with statistical analysis of wildlife population data.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
